It's the last High School Graduation weekend of May, and I have something to say directly to every middle schooler and young teenager out there. Do not be around older teenagers drinking alcohol unsupervised. You can spend time with your friends — supervised, responsibly, safely. No alcohol under 21. No illicit drugs. No cigarettes. No weed. On Intel, Big Tech, and Why This Work Matters

Eleven Years. One Week. A Lot of Unfinished Business.

This week is a significant one for me personally. Over 11 years ago, I walked onto the Intel Corporation campus for my very first day. I was a Green Badge — a contractor — not a Blue Badge. But I didn't care. I was on a Big Tech campus. I was working hard alongside brilliant people. I was genuinely happy. I loved my co-workers. I poured everything into those two contracts.

I was hoping for a third contract. Maybe even a Blue Badge offer. Neither materialized. What did materialize: my work was absorbed, the company thrived, and in the years that followed, Intel laid off tens of thousands of employees and saved billions. Then AI lifted the stock from roughly $18/share in late 2025 to nearly $130 — driven in part by the U.S. Government's involvement, NVIDIA partnerships, and new industry deals. I'm not bitter about Intel's success. I still respect that company. I still want to return. But I want the waiting game to end, and I want the informal practice of blacklisting candidates — what some call "don't hire my guy" — to stop. It is illegal. It is wrong. It has cost me years.

I am the Founder, President, CEO, Director, and Senior Project Manager of Zack Technology LLC. A Rough Start to the Day — But I'm Okay

I was in the kitchen, drank some strong syrup — think Syrup (the film) energy, but make it lemonade — and started coughing like crazy. I grabbed a cup and got some water, but the water spilled on the kitchen floor. I slipped and fell, hit my head on the wall, and hurt my leg. Thankfully, my head did not bleed. I iced it immediately, no swelling. My right shoulder has a bruise, and my leg needed rest. I'm okay, but I had to cancel my beloved late lunch/dinner combo of Pad Thai Seafood, and #MentalHealthDay at Temple Coffee. That one stung a little. Later, once I felt better, I was able to pick up LEGO Batman (PS5) and some snacks — Snickers, Twix, and Reese's. A win, in the end. Take care of yourselves out there. Kitchens are dangerous. 🙏

Eleven years ago today, I walked through the doors of Intel Corporation for the first time. It was one of the proudest moments of my professional life. I gave everything I had during my time there — and when my contract ended on June 1, 2018, nearly 8 years ago now, I never stopped hoping to return.

In the years since, I have received over 30 calls and DocuSigns from Intel tech recruiters. Not one led to a job offer. Not one converted into a Blue Badge position or a third contract. I have spent those years building Zack Technology LLC — covering Technology, World Affairs, Electronic Music, Diplomacy, AI/Superintelligence, Mental Health, and Music Therapy. Over 30,000 job applications. 10+ million words of content. One published book. 10,000+ podcast episodes including the worldwide JETLAG RADIO series. I am a proven Superintelligence SME.
