🕊️ Five Years Since the Withdrawal from Afghanistan

This week marks five years since U.S. troops evacuated Afghanistan, and the country has remained under Taliban rule ever since. We hope for a better day in that region of the world someday. Let us hope that one day, Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud — son of Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud — will help lead that nation toward a future where men and women can live in peace, and where children and teens can go to school, regardless of gender.

As you may know, it's a sombre week, since it's the anniversary of the evacuation of the U.S. troops from Afghanistan five years ago, and the country has been under Taliban regime ever since then. We hope for a better day in that region of the world, someday. Let us hope one day, Commander Ahmad Shah Massoud, son of Commander Massoud, will take over and lead that nation so that men and women can live in peace, and that children and teens can go to school, regardless of gender.
