For the first time since 2017, the diagnostic criteria for all types of Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD) will be updated. The new framework will be published on December 1, 2026, in the internationally renowned journal, the American Journal of Medical Genetics, a leading global publication for genetic and rare disease research. Once published, the new framework will replace any previously published diagnostic criteria for EDS and HSD. [The Ehlers-Danlos Society] #EhlersDanlosSyndrome

Music Therapy for People With Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Systematic Review of Randomized Clinical Trials [PubMed Central]

What’s up, everybody! It’s Thursday, April 2, 2026. As always, I am raising awareness on Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, since I suffer from this genetic disease, especially since I was discriminated both in my work life, and in my love life. Love on the Spectrum Season 4 is now available on Netflix. I haven’t seen the new season but I do plan on watching it. “World Autism Awareness Day is observed annually on April 2 to increase understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Established by the United Nations, it marks the start of World Autism Month, focusing on celebrating neurodiversity, promoting inclusion, and fostering worldwide support.” “It is impossible to know for sure if Albert Einstein was autistic, as he was never diagnosed during his lifetime. However, many experts and researchers speculate he was on the autism spectrum (specifically Asperger’s syndrome) due to his social awkwardness, delayed speech as a child, intense focus, and preference for solitude.” As always, Music Therapy helps people who deal with Autism, other forms of Mental Illnesses on the Spectrum, and more. These Autism artists often turn their passion into a "superpower," breaking barriers in the music industry. SIA is one of them. As someone who suffers from Bipolar Syndrome, but stable for the last decade +, I highly recommend Music Therapy. It does miracles for the mind.

Until Next Time!
