With the Strait of Hormuz still in play and nuclear questions unresolved, Vox reports that the regional calculus is shifting in ways that defy easy categorization. A nominal ceasefire has not translated into stability, and the downstream consequences — for Gulf shipping, global energy markets, and U.S. strategic posture — remain deeply uncertain. The piece is required reading for anyone tracking the Middle East's most volatile flashpoint.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 — Act 1 Boss Guide
⚡ GOBLU BOSS — I'M COMING FOR YOU.

Friends, I'll be honest with you: I'm stuck on the Goblu boss in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and I need all the help and walkthroughs I can get. Wish me luck — because once I've cracked this fight, we're going LIVE on PS5. Here's what the community knows about beating this formidable Nevron:

⚡ WEAKNESS: Goblu is weak to Lightning damage. Stack lightning skills — use Gustave's Overcharge and Lune's Thunderfall for massive burst damage. Go aggressive early.
🌸 THE FLOWER MECHANIC: Goblu grows flowers throughout the fight. Shoot the glowing weak points on blue flowers to close them — they grant Goblu shields when absorbed. Red flowers fuel its damage buff. Prioritize shooting flowers with a dedicated character to keep AP in check.
🛡️ TWO SHIELDS AT START: Goblu opens with 2 shields. Use Free Aim shots to break them fast, or note that status ailments from Lune's Immolation and Maelle's Spark still apply through them.
🦘 JUMP ATTACK TIMING: Goblu leaps, hangs in the air briefly, then bounces three times. Use the audio cue for timing — the third bounce has a deliberate delay. Don't mash that parry button early.
💥 CRUSH ATTACK (LATE FIGHT): After absorbing flowers, Goblu can one-shot party members with a brutal slam. A whooshing sound telegraphs it. At that point, all-in on burning down HP — don't chase flowers anymore, just go for the kill.
🗡️ MAELLE'S PERCÉE: This skill can take out roughly a third of Goblu's health in one hit. Coordinate with Lune and Gustave's lightning for a devastating combo round.
🍀 Please wish me luck, everyone! I'm resuming Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on PS5, embarking on my quest to finally take down Goblu — and I will be livestreaming the journey. Wait for me… I'm coming. 🎮
