Thursday/Jeudi May/Mai 15th, 2025
May is Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and HSD Awareness Month! No matter where you are in the world, you can take part in Acts of Awareness this May—challenges designed to raise awareness and funds in creative, accessible ways. Every action you take helps us get closer to our $100,000 goal—funding research, improving care, and supporting the EDS and HSD community. [Ehlers-Danlos-Society]

What’s up, everybody! It’s Thursday, May 15th, 2025. I have a huge announcement for the world of Medicine, since it’s Medical Journals day. As always, I want y’all to educate yourselves on EHLERS DANLOS SYNDROME, because a lot of Doctors are unaware about this chronic illness condition. I plan on contacting the EDS Society soon to see if they want to partner up with me. As you know, I love driving, and apparently, unbeknownst to me, one of the car manufacturers that I despise, happen to be one of its biggest supporters, and actual Ferrari drivers drive for the cause of EHLERS DANLOS SYNDROME. Obviously, I will never drive a Ferrari car anytime soon, since it’s a $300,000 vehicle. But it means a lot that they support my illness. Also, I suffer from Bipolar Syndrome, and I’ve been stable for over a decade except for a few manic episodes. I prefer not to talk about that illness because people immediately frown upon people with Mental Health, and discriminate against them. Whether in the work environment, in the dating environment, or elsewhere. Anyway, for Bipolar syndrome, my favorite activity is to gather myself amongst people who are car enthousiasts. We meet at Coffee Shops, 7-Elevens, etc. We grab a cup of coffee or other special non-alcoholic drink, and we go cruisin’ for 1-2 hours. I enjoy going with fans or drivers from WeatherTech Laguna Seca. We drive from Sacramento to San Francisco (not the full distance, only to the halfway point) and back. Join us.
