I’d like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. During the Holidays, I often hear stories of people who love their lives but are very tired of daily routines, kids running around, exhausted from work, etc etc. Let me introduce you to a little old movie called “The Family Man.” It’s a story of an arrogant playboy bachelor prick who thinks he has everything in the world, but one night, during the holidays, something happens to him. I’m not going to give the story away, but the moral of the story is, be thankful these holidays, for good health, and family. I’m not knocking you down if you are a super independent woman who doesn’t need anyone and doesn’t want kids, More power to you. But, watch this movie, and if it doesn’t touch your spirit, then I’m sorry.

Be thankful for the people in your life who are there for you. It is okay to have patience for those who left, but patience has limit. If someone left your life is unwilling to let bygone be bygone, so be it. Because life is short, so, enjoy it with the real folks who are there with you. Those who will be by your side at your lowest points, and your highest points.

Whether you are religious or not, sometimes you may wonder things like “Where do we come from?”, “Where are we going?” “Is there life out there?” Here’s what you must remember: the Universe, or “God” or whatever you want to call it, trying to explain the wonders of the Galaxies to us would be like humans trying to show a PowerPoint to an ant (I’m sure you’ve read this explanation before). As we’ve entered the 21st Century, we have learned new things, but we’ve barely scratched the surface. So don’t stress out too much, don’t think too much (trust me, when you overthink, you go bananas, you don’t want to do that), just enjoy the simplest things in life. Things like love, family, friendships, and good health/job.

A long time ago, In my darkest hour, I always turn to Music. The music I like isn’t for everyone, it’s called Electronic Dance Music. I’ve listened to these DJs for over a decade. Since 2003 I’ve promoted their music because I absolutely love it. I know for the majority of people, it just sounds like a loud bashing noise that sounds like “thump-thump-thump” but to a lot of us, it’s magic. This music takes us on a journey, from the good days, and the bad. There is a huge spectrum with all kind of sounds. All the old greatest, such as David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk are still out there, putting out great tunes, and so many newcomers have done fantastic work. I am also impressed by the line of young artists and the inclusion of more female artists! I think Gareth Emery is on the right track when he asks his fans for work with more new vocalists. There is so much new talent out there that we don’t know about, and they must be found.

I am listening to a lot of Lupe Fiasco and Drake right now. They’re my two favorite rappers so it’s a given. The new 21 Savage album is great, but definitely not for kids. I don’t know who “A Boogie Wit da Hoodie” is, but the new artwork looks cool, so I’m gonna give it a listen.

Still playing Spider-Man, and almost done with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (my favorite game of last year).

Currently reading books on History. Remember, “those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

I am very upset Mattis was forced out. This man is a hero and deserve our praise. His men won’t forget the incredible work he’s accomplished over the years.

Last but not least, I want to thank everybody in Congress who start January are going to make some big improvement on a multitude of issues, including free-tuition, Medicare for All, better access to Education, beat the crap out of Cancer using nanotechnology, so on and so forth, and the most important issue, fight Income Inequality. Climate Change as always, I’m sorry but at this point, if the Administration doesn’t understand, we’ll just make it mandatory education using children’s books, then every student K-12 ought to embarrass them enough to understand that Climate Change is a damn real problem. The clock is ticking.

Can’t wait for 2019, I hope to attend a race event for the first time, probably at Laguna Seca.
