JETLAG RADIO 059 | 6-28-17

Hello. I've just uploaded playlist # 059.

The 12th track is quite an important one. I want to thank artist superstar Logic for writing this one. It's from his latest album, and raises awareness on a very important topic. There are TV shows on Netflix that touch on this matter, but alas, in some ways, it glorifies the subject, which is not good. I much prefer Logic's point of view on this with this song. For more information, please see this YouTube video below:

The 2nd thing I wanted to mention, was this recent TED talk by Tim Ferriss. It's very inspiring, so check it out:

  • Recently I read an important book on the whole healthcare debacle entitled "An American Sickness: How Healthcare Became Big Business and How You Can Take It Back" by Elizabeth Rosenthal. I thank the Universe (and/or Jesus, Allah & Buddha, whatever floats your boat) that we have some Senators working extra hard to #SaveACA, stop this ridiculous #AHCA, and continue the journey towards #SinglePayer, also known as #SB562 in California. There are forces trying to shut it down, but people are fighting hard. I really hope Governor Brown, as amazing as the work on #ClimateChange he's been doing, I hope he takes a look at #SB562.
  • I also finished the 2nd novel volume in the Yukikaze saga, it's a Sci-Fi military story. It's written by Chōhei Kambayashi, and it's also available in Anime format (5 volumes). Please check it out! If more people read the series, the publisher will finally translate novel volume 3 from Japanese into English.
  • I'm really excited about the new Fast & Furious that just came out on iTunes, and looking forward the latest Transformers movie as well. The next movie I'm gonna watch is probably Logan, it's the latest Marvel movie that is out, along with Guardians of the Galaxy 2. We still have a long way until the new The Avengers come out, but at least, there's a new Spiderman movie out in a week.
  • I have only read Malcolm Gladwell's first book. I look forward to reading the rest of his books.

Until Next Time!
