I want you all to cherish your health insurance if you have good coverage, because I don't — after years of navigating MEDI-CAL, I was finally able to schedule an appointment at a local clinic for tomorrow. I miss my family physician back in Modesto, CA — she was, and still is, a great doctor. I haven't been able to see her since losing solid coverage, and honestly, the state of American health insurance can feel like a real disgrace sometimes. Unfortunately, there was zero mention of Neo Berlin 2087 during the 3-hour conference — the trailer had actually dropped a week or so early, and it showed self-harm, which was pretty unsettling, especially since the game is now delayed until 2028. Anyway, I'm in a frustrated mood, and you can expect new episodes of my VLOGs very shortly — a new “Coffee with Zaki” in French is upon us. I'll be honest, it's genuinely discouraging that after everything I've put into this, I still can't afford a new vehicle or get a car donated to help with the work I do. It feels like people expect all of this for free, and after more than a decade of that, it wears on you.

What's up, everybody! It's Friday (Vendredi) August (Août) 21, 2026. TGIF! Let's celebrate by enjoying videogames this weekend — obviously, after you've all finished your homework for Monday if you're in school. I'll do a few livestreams if possible.

I may go to the movie theater and watch a movie and grab In-N-Out (#HaroldAndKumar4 mode). It's a hard choice, because it's the 25th anniversary of Fast & Furious 1, and I love the series, but I drive a VW and it's been giving me anxiety for years. I've tried, hopelessly, to buy a new car for over a decade, but Big Tech never hired me — over 30,000 job applications, and nothing. It's been royally frustrating. I still eat my tuna sandwiches, but I haven't had one in a while — need to make that trip to Jimmy John's in Roseville, CA.

There's also “The Brink of War” and “Mutiny.” I love Jason Statham, and my goal is to have a job like “The Transporter” someday, but given the tense relations between NATO and Russia over the conflict in Ukraine, I may watch the Jeff Daniels movie about why nuclear weapons should never be used instead.

All I have is about $50, which means my “opportunity cost” (for those of you who studied economics) is also a copy of Metal Gear Solid Volume 2, which includes MGS IV and MGS Peace Walker — two games that are crucial for my #RazerCreator livestreaming series on YouTube Gaming. Wish me luck making a decision!
