Souvent admirée notamment à l’international dans les salons comme Web Summit, #CES, Slush mais parfois raillée sur notre territoire pour son vocabulaire et ses codes (trop) singuliers, notre start-up nation n’a pas à rougir de son bilan.
En 10 ans, notre pays est devenu le leader de l’innovation de l’Union européenne ! Les 25 000 start-up de La French Tech ont créé plus d’1,1 million d’emplois. Cette année encore, la France maintient sa première place en termes de levées de fonds, devant l’Allemagne.
En 10 ans, les start-up ont changé nos vies. Ce sont des entreprises bien réelles, qui nous rendent des services très concrets – qui, aujourd’hui, n’a pas encore pris rendez-vous avec son médecin par DOCTOLIB, payé un ami avec Lydia ou partagé sa voiture avec BlaBlaCar ?
Cette réussite doit beaucoup à l’engagement du président de la République, Emmanuel Macron, comme à celui des ministres du numérique, Jean-Noël Barrot aujourd’hui. Quand le gouvernement et les entreprises avancent dans la même direction, la France est inarrêtable !
Alors que la tentation serait de privilégier le court terme en faveur de la rentabilité à tout prix, nous avons plus que jamais besoin de vous, les entrepreneuses et entrepreneurs ! Nous avons besoin de votre imagination, de votre témérité et de votre audace.
Voici notre nouveau défi pour la décennie qui s’ouvre : mettre plus résolument l’innovation au service du bien commun, de la transition écologique, comme de la cohésion sociale. C’est notre ambition : contribuer, par l’entrepreneuriat, à faire nation.
